Creating mailing and address lookup and validation

The Label Preferences tab enables you to select specific label addresses for any mailing label on a per-customer basis.

To enable product label preferences

The Label Preferences tab enables you to select specific label addresses for any mailing label on a per-customer basis. Before inserting product label preferences, you must enable the Use Product Label Preferences option.

1.  From Customers, select Set up module > General, and click Address and Notes to open the Customers Setup - Address and Notes window.

2.  Click Edit.

3.  Enable the Use Product Label Preferences option.

4.  Click Save to update the record.

5.  Close iMIS Desktop to enable Use Product Label Preferences.

6.  Ensure that your iMIS Administrator stops and restarts all websites that contain your iMIS 15 applications.

If restarting the websites is problematic, you can wait for the cache to refresh (default is 15 minutes wait time, designated by the refresh cache interval) and then your changes appear.

Note: Upon enabling Use Product Label Preferences, the Product Label Preference table activates, allowing you to create user-defined label codes. The Label Preferences tab displays on the Manage customers window when you enable this feature.

To insert product label preference codes

1.  From Customers, select Set up product label preferences to open the Set up product label preferences window.

2.  Enter new codes:

□    Click New.

□    Enter a code for the label in the Code field and a name for the label in the Name field.

□    Click Save.

□    Repeat until you have entered all of the codes.
